Squeeg's Kustoms

Custom WordPress rebuild for Arizona's longest-running kustom shop, home of the 2026 America's Most Beautiful Roadster. Replacing an aging Wix site, with ongoing maintenance after launch.

  • Shop history going back to 1964
  • Full builds archive brought over from the old site
  • Ongoing care plan after launch
Squeeg's Kustoms home page — "Built to stop the show" with current builds in the shop

Squeeg’s Kustoms has been building hot rods and laying down kustom paint in the Phoenix area since 1964. In 2026 their roadster Blue Ribbon won America’s Most Beautiful Roadster, and the shop’s website didn’t look like it belonged to that shop. It was an aging Wix site with a store nobody wanted to run anymore.

I rebuilt it from the ground up on WordPress with a custom theme built to put the cars first.

What I built

  • Custom WordPress block theme and design: dark, loud, and built around the photography
  • A builds archive covering decades of the shop’s work, with the AMBR roadsters up front
  • “In the Shop” and “On the Road” sections so the team can post current builds and show appearances themselves
  • A products showcase for the parts and apparel the shop still sells
  • Heritage timeline from 1964 to today
  • A build consult form that goes straight to the shop

What’s next

The site launches on squeegskustoms.com soon. After that I stay on to keep it current with new builds, new awards, and the shop’s show season.
